Ola Group of Companies’ founder and CEO Bhavish Aggarwal announced that the firm is cutting ties with its existing cloud service provider, Microsoft Azure, and will move its entire workload to the firm’s own AI firm Krutrim. This decision comes after Aggarwal’s post on “pronoun illness” was removed by LinkedIn, sparking a debate on the use of gender pronouns. Aggarwal believes that Indians should build their own tech platforms and not rely on western Big Tech monopolies.
