Masheika Allgood and Alexander Tsado, former presidents of Nvidia’s Black employees group, met with CEO Jensen Huang to discuss the potential dangers of artificial intelligence technology, especially to minorities. They presented a 22-slide deck and other documents to warn Huang of the potential risks of AI and the need for increased regulatory scrutiny. However, they felt that Huang did not listen to their concerns and that Nvidia was not prioritizing work on addressing potential bias in AI technology. As a result, both Allgood and Tsado left the company shortly afterwards.
