Explainable Ai (xai): Theory, Methods And Applications

This Special Issue focuses on research advances and developments in the Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) research field. It covers topics such as post-hoc explanations, explanations by prototypes, counterfactual explanations, and graphical explanations, as well as ethical guidelines and regulations. Contributions and different applications of XAI domains such as healthcare, sensor-based applications, and education are welcome. Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
