The 8th BRICS Industry Ministers’ Meeting was held in Russia, with Iran’s Deputy Industry, Mining, and Trade Minister in attendance. The meeting focused on new technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, blockchain, cloud computing, robotics, and medical and genetic engineering. Iran’s membership in BRICS provides opportunities for exchanging experiences and promoting industrial and commercial interactions. The program also included a roundtable on developing economies and international organizations to accelerate industrial development and improve competitiveness.
