A study by NewsGuard has found that leading chatbots are repeating and amplifying Russian misinformation, highlighting the dangers of AI being used for disinformation. The study tested 10 chatbots and found that 32% of the time, they produced Russian disinformation narratives. This is concerning as AI is being increasingly used in election years, making it easier for bad actors to spread false information.
