Target Corp. has developed a new AI solution called Store Companion, which is a chatbot that can assist store associates with answering customer inquiries and performing tasks. The tool is currently being piloted at 400 stores and has received positive feedback from associates. Target also plans to roll out generative AI tools for its headquarters employees and customer-facing solutions.
