Over 1,000 students have pledged to boycott job opportunities at Google and Amazon over their involvement in Project Nimbus, a cloud computing service for the Israeli government. The campaign, led by No Tech for Apartheid, aims to gather 1,200 signatures from students and young workers to refuse job offers from the companies until they withdraw from the project. Concerns have been raised about the companies’ support of Israel’s policies towards Palestinians, and Google has faced internal protests over its involvement in similar projects in the past.
