NATO has launched a €1B innovation fund to invest in European startups and venture capital firms focusing on emerging technologies with military and defence applications. The fund aims to enhance the defence and security of the Alliance’s 24 member countries and has already made initial investments in AI, robotics, spacetech, and novel materials startups.
