The UAE government has approved a new federal traffic law that includes amendments to classify vehicles and regulate the use of modern technologies on the roads. The legislation aims to keep pace with rapid global changes in transportation and takes advantage of technological advancements in the country’s road network. Additionally, the Cabinet was updated on the progress of the Emirates Genome Programme, which has collected over 600,000 DNA samples from across the country.
