The Eastern Africa Sub-Regional Forum on Artificial Intelligence (EARFAI) is a three-day event that brings together ministers from 15 countries to explore AI’s potential for sustainable development and societal transformation. Discussions will focus on implementing the Recommendation on the Ethics of AI, with 22 African countries already implementing the standard. The event will also feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops, as well as discussions on the role of women in AI.
