China Mobile has been named the top performer in Omdia’s telco-to-techco benchmark, which assesses the efforts of telecom service providers transitioning to the techco operator model. The company has successfully adopted the techco model by offering services in areas such as AI, big data, and the cloud, and has seen significant growth in revenue from new digital services. Other top performers include NTT and SK Telecom, which are also focusing on digital transformation and AI services.
