The Economic Times Vision Conclave was held in Uttar Pradesh to discuss the possibilities of deploying AI and other emerging technologies for improving the systems of governance, taking care of the vulnerable sections of the population and growing the state’s economy. The state government led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has already started to transform five cities in the state into AI and IT hubs, with Lucknow set to become India’s first AI-city. The Conclave was attended by top ministers and officers from the Uttar Pradesh and the Central governments, industry experts, leaders of startups and other stakeholders. Discussions and presentations during the course of the day focused on the approach the State Government is taking to humanize AI and other emerging technologies for achieving the goals of sustainable and inclusive development.
