The idea that AI is quickly growing out of control has been a hot topic in the news recently, with the “godfather” of machine learning, Geoffrey Hinton, resigning from Google to spread the word on the dangers of AI. However, companies that put people first are integrating AI and tech into society responsibly, with the ultimate litmus test being respect for the value and importance of people. Companies and society must keep the focus on Social Capital in order to ensure that AI and technology are not used to displace humans.
