IBM and Pasqal have announced a partnership to develop a common approach to quantum-centric supercomputing and promote application research in chemistry and materials science. They plan to work together to define the software integration architecture for a quantum-centric supercomputer and co-sponsor a regional HPC technical forum. Their shared objective is to foster industry adoption in materials science and chemistry, leveraging their respective roles in quantum computing and working with the Materials working group established by IBM.
