D-Wave Quantum, a leader in quantum computing systems, software, and services, has updated its Constrained Quadratic Model (“CQM”) hybrid solver in its Leap(TM) quantum cloud service. The enhanced CQM solver helps businesses solve more complex optimization problems through quantum/classical computation, allowing users to benefit from a simplified expression of their constrained problems. The updates announced today deliver increased performance for existing binary problem classes, such as offer allocation, portfolio optimization, and satisfiability. According to D-Wave Quantum VP of software, algorithms and cloud services Trevor Lanting, the updates reflect the company’s commitment to building solutions that bring real enterprise applicability and impact today.
