The Luxembourg Supercomputing Day was an annual event hosted by Supercomputing Luxembourg, a collaboration between Luxinnovation, LuxProvide, and the University of Luxembourg. The event aimed to help companies, researchers, and public bodies unlock the potential of data and develop innovative solutions using the power of supercomputing. The second edition of the event included a research and business-oriented programme, with keynote speeches from Luxprovide Business Development Executive and Scientific Advisor Alban Rousset, and Co-founder and CTO of quantum computing cloud QMware George Gesek. Senior Programme Officer at the European High Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) Josephine Wood also discussed Europe’s progress in strengthening the supercomputing terrain.
