Seeqc Unveils Italy’s First Quantum Computing System

SEEQC, a digital quantum computing company, has unveiled and demonstrated Italy’s first full-stack quantum computer in its laboratory in Naples. The SEEQC System Red is the company’s first-generation reference class quantum computer and utilizes the company’s proprietary quantum computing platform incorporating firmware, software packages and cloud portal. This platform allows users to access the reference system to run any universal application or algorithm, with four times lower error rates over competitors and gate speeds up to 10 times faster than competitors. The architecture of SEEQC Red was built to mimic current generation superconductor quantum computing systems with conventional analog control and readout utilizing room temperature electronics.
