The EY organization and IBM have announced that EY Global Services Limited will be joining the IBM Quantum Network, giving EY teams access to IBM’s fleet of quantum computers over the cloud. This will enable them to explore solutions to enterprise challenges across finance, oil and gas, healthcare, and government. EY teams plan to use IBM quantum technology to conduct leading-class practice research to uncover transformative use cases. Andy Baldwin, EY Global Managing Partner – Client Service, believes that quantum is akin to what AI represented years ago and that this alliance puts the EY organization at the forefront of technology. Jeff Wong, EY Global Chief Innovation Officer, believes that this period of technology-led transformation is an opportunity to create value for clients and society.
