The IBM-Cleveland Clinic Discovery Accelerator was founded two years ago as part of a ten-year joint research agreement. The center is dedicated to boosting research in healthcare and the life sciences, using IBM’s high-performance computing, hybrid cloud, artificial intelligence, and quantum computing capabilities. An IBM Quantum System One computer was unveiled today by the IBM-Cleveland Clinic Discovery Accelerator. The center will be used to develop new treatments and cures for diseases, as well as new technologies and applications in the fields of medical imaging, genomics, and drug discovery.
