Infineon Technologies has released the PSOC Edge MCU series, which is designed to optimize machine learning and inference for edge AI applications. The series features Arm Cortex-M55 architecture, Helium DSP support, and Infineon’s proprietary hardware accelerator, NNLite. This allows for increased performance and efficiency in edge devices, reducing latency and improving security. The series offers flexibility for different power and “always on” constraints.
