Octaipipe: £3.5 Million Raised For Delivering Secure Edge Ai

OctaiPipe, an Edge AI platform, has raised £3 million in funding and a £500,000 grant from Innovate UK. The platform aims to develop its Federated Learning technology and scale availability for IoT-dependent industries. Along with the funding, OctaiPipe has appointed Arnaud Lagarde as Chief Revenue Officer. The use of AI in Critical Infrastructure has the potential to increase productivity and reduce costs, but security concerns and rising Cloud AI costs have limited its utilization. OctaiPipe’s Federated Learning approach allows for training AI models locally at the Edge, maximizing performance and system resilience.
