Bitails recently conducted a stress test on the BSV mainnet to explore new use cases for the blockchain in the world of Internet of Things (IoT) and IPv6. The test included single transactions with hundreds of thousands of UTXOs, which could be a fast, secure, and cheap way to communicate with large networks of IoT devices. IPv6 has the potential to provide near-infinite unique IP addresses, built-in end-to-end encryption, and multicast capabilities. A single BSV transaction could activate/deactivate devices, assign permissions, or send instructions.
