Zscaler, a US-based cloud security company, has announced the appointments of Claudionor Coelho Jr. as Chief AI Officer and Mohamed Shabar as EVP, Data & AI Platforms. The appointments are part of the company’s commitment to driving rapid innovation in advanced applied Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Shabar brings 25 years of IT experience and a wealth of expertise in driving the next generation of automation, AI, and cloud platform development. He previously led the Marketing Cloud Technology organisation at Salesforce, achieving a 30% CAGR over four years and a three times reduction in customer attrition.
