Jaya Baloo, Rapid7’s CISO, spoke at the 2023 Australian Cyber Conference about the cyber security risks organisations face due to their complexity and growth. Baloo discussed the need for organisations to proactively map assets and vulnerabilities, be consistent through times of growth, and plan ahead for emerging risks like quantum computing. She also highlighted the need for organisations to have a full understanding of their assets and vulnerabilities, and to deploy the same security standards for internal products as for test environments.
