The 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China concluded on Sunday with the service providers revealing that behind the scenes, cutting-edge network security technology was used to guarantee a stable and harmonious environment for the Games. International sports events have always been a stage for showcasing innovative technology, but they also pose risks such as malicious cyberattacks. This year’s Asian Games incorporated a large number of intelligent technologies such as AI, IoT and 5G. Director-in-charge of the Information Technology Command Centre of the Hangzhou Asian Games, Xu Weihua, revealed that they had almost 20 innovations at the Games that were the first of their kind.
