Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has a different approach to dealing with the potential threat of artificial intelligence (AI) than tech rival Elon Musk. Gates believes that pausing development of AI would be more dangerous than allowing it to continue, and that laws only stop law-abiding citizens. He also believes that the benefits of AI outweigh the potential negatives, citing its ability to create images and interact with chatbots.
