NIST.IR 8425 is a document released in September 2022 that provides a set of guidelines for the Cybersecurity Labeling Program for IoT devices. It consists of selections from NIST.IR 8259A and 8259B, which were selected with input from the software community in 2021. In June 2021, there will be a White House announcement about the program, which will provide more information. IoT device manufacturers and users should take a look at NIST.IR 8425, which is a very good document.
