The International Law Association of the Nigerian Branch is hosting its annual conference to discuss the role of international law in regulating new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, blockchain, cloud computing, big data, and social media. The conference will provide a platform for international lawyers to discuss, explore and clarify the regulation of new technologies at national, regional and global levels. It will feature a keynote lecture by Edward Kwakwa, The Assistant Director-General, World Intellectual Property Organisation, Geneva, Switzerland, and a keynote conversation with Former Attorney General of the Federation, Chief Bayo Ojo SAN. Other speakers include the Director General of the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, Professor Mohammed Tawfiq Ladan, Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, and the Managing Partner S.P.A. Ajibade & Co, Dr Babatunde Ajibade, SAN.
