Security research has revealed software vulnerabilities in Nexx’s suite of smart home devices, which could allow a hacker to access personal information and manipulate the devices. The vulnerabilities appear to stem from an unprotected password in the app’s API, which was discovered by security researcher Sam Sabetan. Despite being contacted multiple times, Nexx has yet to acknowledge the problem.
