Top executives from Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel expressed their concern over the use of unlicensed spectrum for Internet of Things (IoT) and Wi-Fi services. They noted that the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has been consistent in pricing spectrum auctions in the country. However, they questioned the efficiency of the spectrum and the lack of demand for certain spectrum bands.
