A recent straw poll of 126 experienced cybersecurity practitioners conducted by (ISC)² revealed a high degree of concern and skepticism about the increasing adoption and integration of AI and ML into all facets of consumer and business technology. 90% of respondents expressed concern, with 44% being ‘very concerned’ and 46% being ‘somewhat concerned’. Only 9% dismissed the rise of AI as of no concern at all. These results suggest that the growth and adoption of AI and ML is moving too fast for some professionals.
