The UK’s competition watchdog has found that Microsoft has a significant market power in cloud services and its licensing practices may influence customer choice of cloud providers. The majority of concerns raised in submissions relate to Microsoft’s software products, which are widely used by organizations. The CMA’s provisional decision report is expected to be published in September or October.
