Oracle To Invest More Than $1bn In Ai And Cloud Computing In Spain

Oracle, a US technology company, has announced a $1bn investment in Spain to establish a third cloud region in Madrid. This will cater to the increasing demand for Oracle’s AI and cloud services and help modernize applications and foster innovation through data, analytics, and AI. The new cloud region will also ensure compliance with EU regulations and will be hosted by Telefónica España. Spain’s Minister for Digital Transformation and Public Administration has welcomed this investment as a boost for the country’s digital transformation.
