Microsoft has opened its first global data centre in Qatar, in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. The partnership aims to empower government entities with the latest AI technologies and achieve the Digital Agenda 2030 and Qatar National Vision 2030 goals. The data centre is part of Microsoft’s global network of over 60 cloud data centre regions.
