Microsoft Corp. announced plans to establish a cloud datacenter region in Taiwan and invest in local talent and development, with a goal to provide digital skilling for over 200,000 people by 2024. This investment adds to Microsoft’s previous investments in Taiwan and will accelerate digital transformation in the public and private sectors. The company also aims to generate over $10 billion in new revenue and add 30,000 jobs to the Taiwan economy in the next four years.
