Microsoft has reportedly asked employees in China’s cloud computing and artificial intelligence units to consider relocating out of the country due to US efforts to restrict China’s access to advanced technology. The employees have been given the option to relocate to the United States, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand. Approximately 700 to 800 individuals have received the offer, primarily Chinese engineers.
