Israeli state-owned weapons companies are required to use cloud services from Google and Amazon under Project Nimbus, a $1.2 billion contract with the Israeli government. The contract includes the Israeli Ministry of Defense and Israel Defense Forces, as well as state-owned weapons manufacturers. Pro-Palestinian groups have raised concerns about the use of these weapons on Palestinians and the involvement of companies in illegal activities. The contract was first released in 2021 and has been updated periodically.
