CoreWeave, a specialized cloud provider for AI, has announced the opening of its European headquarters in London. The company plans to invest £1 billion to bolster the country’s AI potential and create job opportunities. CoreWeave will also be opening two data centers in 2024 with further expansion planned in 2025. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Secretary of State of Science, Innovation, and Technology, Michelle Donelan, have both expressed their support for CoreWeave’s investment in the UK.
