Bhavish Aggarwal, founder of Ola Cabs and Ola Electric, announced that Ola will stop using Microsoft’s cloud computing platform Azure and migrate to Krutrim’s cloud. This decision comes after Aggarwal’s tussle with LinkedIn over the removal of a post he made on the platform. He also offered free cloud usage for a year to developers who want to leave Azure. The issue stemmed from LinkedIn’s AI chatbot using the pronoun “they” for Aggarwal, which he deemed as a “pronoun illness” and expressed concerns about Indians copying this practice. Aggarwal plans to announce his next steps on the issue on Saturday.
