A £10 million consortium led by Rigetti UK has successfully delivered a 32-qubit quantum computer in the UK, with plans to deliver a 24-qubit system to the National Quantum Computing Centre. The project involved collaboration with the Quantum Software Lab, Phasecraft, Standard Chartered Bank, and Oxford Instruments, and aims to accelerate the commercialization of quantum computing in the UK.
