The Web3 Revolution is a movement to address the centralization of user-generated content on the internet, which is controlled by a few large corporations. Dr. Alessio Pagani of nChain presented a talk on blockchain as a solution to this problem at the 8th International Conference on Cloud Computing and Internet of Things (CCIOT 2023). The conference was held at the University of the Ryukyus in Okinawa, Japan, and featured Professor Latif Ladid and John Murphy of nChain as keynote speakers. The paper presented by Murphy, Lopez, and Pagani was titled “Bitcoin-Powered IoT Networks for Climate Change”.
