The Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) is collaborating with Microsoft Corp. and Micron Technology to make computational chemistry broadly available to applied researchers and industrial users. This collaboration is aimed at making high performance computing accessible to everyone and is at the nexus of theory, computation, high performance computing and technology. The team is connecting their software with the new technological advances of Microsoft and Micron to perform large scale calculations of the costs in an energy efficient manner.
