Google Upgrades Vertex Ai, Foundation Models, Adds Meta’s Llama 2, Anthropic To Portfolio And More

Google Cloud Next 2023 saw the expansion of Vertex AI, Google’s cloud-based platform for building, training and deploying machine learning models. This expansion includes upgrades to the platform’s own foundation models and the addition of third-party models to its Model Garden. Additionally, Vertex Search and Conversation is now generally available, with features such as multi-turn search and conversation and search summarization. Two new products for Vertex AI, Colab Enterprise and a MLOps Framework, were also announced in public preview.
