Canonical India’s Sales Director, Karmendra Trivedi, stresses the critical role of open-source technologies and cloud computing in powering India’s dream of becoming a $1 trillion digital economy by 2026. According to NASSCOM, cloud’s contribution towards the gross domestic product (GDP) will be anywhere between $315 to $375 billion and will, directly and indirectly, create 14 million jobs. Trivedi highlights four components that will be impacted by cloud computing: innovation, economy, jobs, and digital transformation.
