The Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) has accepted Kubeflow as an incubation project, signaling an important stride for the open source Kubernetes machine learning platform. Kubeflow was founded by Google and is used by enterprises to create a portable and open source machine learning platform. It can be deployed on any Kubernetes cluster and supports a range of ML frameworks, including TensorFlow, PyTorch and Apache MXNet. Kubeflow also provides an end-to-end MLOps pipeline for data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, hyperparameter tuning, AutoML, and model serving. With its affiliation with the CNCF, Kubeflow will benefit from the support of other CNCF projects.
