Fedml Closes $11.5 Million Seed Round To Help Companies Build And Train Custom Generative Ai Models

FedML has closed $11.5 million in seed funding to expand development and adoption of its distributed MLOps platform, which helps companies efficiently train and serve custom generative AI and large language models using proprietary data, while reducing costs through decentralized GPU cloud resources shared by the community. The platform overcomes barriers of high data, cloud infrastructure and engineering costs, and enables companies and developers to work together on machine learning tasks by sharing data, models and compute resources. FedML empowers distributed machine learning via both edge and cloud resources, through innovations at three AI infrastructure layers.
