CoreWeave, a specialized cloud provider of large-scale GPU-accelerated workloads, has announced a new data center facility in Plano, Texas, that is set to be fully operational by December 31. The $1.6 billion facility will support economic activity and job growth in the area, and will provide cloud solutions for compute-intensive use cases such as machine learning, AI, VFX and rendering, batch processing and pixel streaming. CoreWeave recently announced the opening of a modern data center in New York City, and has raised $421 million in capital for its Series B round.
