Dell Technologies has released the latest version of its Enterprise SONiC network operating system, which is built upon Software for Open Networking in the Cloud (SONiC). This open-source Linux-based OS is focused on network management in datacenter environments and is designed to simplify the increasingly complex datacenter world. Enterprise SONiC Distribution by Dell Technologies is the first commercial version of the SONiC product, and it is part of Dell’s Open Networking initiative (ON). This initiative seeks to make datacenter networks more flexible and easier to manage.
