Google Cloud has announced its intent to open a new cloud region and a country office in Kuwait, as part of its strategic alliance with the government. The new cloud region will meet broad demand for cloud services in the country and support public sector organizations, businesses, and startups in their digital transformation journeys. During a leadership visit to Kuwait, Google Cloud’s President Adaire Fox-Martin met with the country’s top leaders to further solidify the strategic alliance. Google Cloud also announced the launch of the National Skilling Program in partnership with the government of Kuwait, which aims to train 3,000 people from government organizations.
