Microsoft’s Azure cloud computing platform is currently being used by more than 2,500 customers to access OpenAI’s artificial intelligence services. As part of a 20-year agreement with Microsoft, OpenAI will provide exclusive access to its technology, which includes natural language processing, computer vision, and reinforcement learning. Microsoft is using OpenAI’s GPT-3 language model to improve Bing’s search results. Azure provides a wide range of services, including virtual machines, storage, analytics, as well as artificial intelligence and machine learning services. In April of 2023, Microsoft saw a decline in its stock performance, with a market capitalization of $2.1T and a strong earnings growth rate of 19.52 percent in the previous year.
